The Fremont County Department of Public Health & Environment invites you to participate in our upcoming Electronics Recycling Event. This one-day event provides a convenient opportunity for residents to responsibly dispose of unwanted electronic devices.
This event accepts anything that plugs in, including large appliances! Most items are free to recycle, with a nominal fee only for televisions and CRT computer monitors.
Electronic waste contains valuable materials that can be recovered and reused, as well as potentially harmful components that should be kept out of landfills. By recycling your electronics properly, you're helping to protect our environment and conserve resources.

Fremont County's Free Disposal Program

The Fremont County Department of Public Health & Environment is proud to announce the 2025 Fremont County Cleanup Campaign, designed to help county residents properly dispose of household waste and improve our community environment.
Free vouchers will be available for Fremont County residents outside city limits for the disposal of household trash, furniture, construction debris, brush, logs, leaves, and yard waste.
This campaign aims to reduce illegal dumping and promote proper waste management throughout our community. Taking advantage of this program helps keep our county clean and protects our local environment for future generations.
