The Community-Based Impaired Driving Prevention Grant Program, established by the Persistent Drunk Driver Act of 1998, aims to improve our community's safety through education and prevention initiatives. Funded through the Persistent Drunk Driving (PDD) Cash Fund, sourced from penalties on convicted DWAI/DUI offenders, our mission is to raise public awareness about the dangers of impaired driving and to shift community norms regarding excessive alcohol and cannabis consumption.
