The Fremont County Department of Public Health & Environment is hosting a recycling event to help residents safely dispose of electronics, latex paint, and appliances. This is a great chance to clear out items that don’t belong in regular trash and keep our community clean.

What We Accept

Bring your unwanted items to the event for safe recycling and disposal:

• Electronics
  Computers, keyboards, printers, and other electronic devices
  
  
• Latex Paint
  Leftover latex paint cans (no oil-based paints)
  
  
• Appliances
  Small and large appliances are accepted, excluding those that contain Freon or refrigerant

Pricing

Most items can be dropped off at no cost. Televisions and CRT computer monitors have a fee of $30 per item to cover special handling and recycling requirements. All other accepted items are free.

Items Not Accepted

For safety reasons, the following items will not be accepted at this event:

• Lightbulbs
• Old thermostats containing mercury
• CO2 detectors
• Smoke or fire alarms
• Appliances containing Freon or refrigerant
